North America Nebula

This nebula covers an area more than ten times the area of the full moon, but typically cannot be seen with the naked eye. The nebula is approx 2,590 light years from earth and spans 140 light years across, and 90 light years north to south. It can be found within the constellation Cygnus. This was captured over several nights in June of 2025 using a monochrome camera and filters to capture Hydrogen Alpha, Sulphur, and Oxegen gas emissions.
